Good morning,
I have just installed a PC with a RYZEN 9 7950X3D on an ASUS X870 P WIFI CM. RAM Corsair 64 GB EXPO.
The processor is cooled by a CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE CAPELLIX XT.
The power supply is an RMX 1000W.
I have a question about processor voltage. when I run OCCT I notice that the voltage fluctuates all the time between 0.7V and 1.1V while staying on the WINDOWS desktop.
The BIOS has been updated and set to default.

Could you help me and tell me what's wrong?
Thank you all in advance
Below is a photo of the tension.

Bonjour,

Je viens d'installer un PC avec un RYZEN 9 7950X3D sur une CM ASUS X870 P WIFI. RAM Corsair 64 Go EXPO.

What testing configuration(s) are being used?

What voltage range is expected and what flucuation range is expected?

How much "stress" is being introducted to the system?

What about accuracy with respect to + or - values for any given measurement?

Overall, more detail is needed to determine the scope of the conducted test(s) and how the results must be interpreted.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Thank you, no tests are carried out. These are simply the values of the PC at rest on Windows. I just want to know if it is normal to see the processor voltage varied from 0.7v to 1.2v when idle. This is my first AMD processor.
THANKS

I understood your post to mean observed voltage flucuations while OCCT was being run.

Just Windows at idle and no other apps, etc. being run.

= = = =

No specific answer (full disclosure). Going a bit outside of my comfort zone.

I did a search using "amd ryzen 9 processor voltage range at idle at idle".

For the most part a specific answer or even some specific range of possible answers/ voltages is dependent on a number of factors.

Including the specifcs of what OCCT may be testing.

The fluctuations may or may not be an indication of something "being wrong".

Will defer to the CPU and Overclocking communities regarding the meaning of the the observed voltage fluctuations.

Overclocking primarly to provide some sense of expected idle voltage ranges with and without overclocking.

My 5600x and 3600 do the same thing.
On desktop with nothing running core speed and voltage drops.
But as soon as windows starts a background task, Windows updates, indexing ,defender update etc... voltage and core speed increase for whatever time the task takes and then back to idle with low voltage and clockspeed.
It is this way by design so it is not a problem.
