Since the only time where a company is affected by stock prices is when buying back or selling new shares to raise capital, changes in stock prices are of limited consequence to AMD.
UM... no.
Patience is rare, among modern investors. They tend to do things like change around senior management, demand restructuring (layoffs), sell off bits of the company (or the whole thing), etc. Nearly all very disruptive to engineering and product development.
Also, AMD has a huge amount of debt. Their profits need to be seen in this light.
