@luciferano: I haven't got into the details (finding prices and comparing between your two builds, but I have doubts that you could make a system with a Phenom II x4 that has the same specs as waethorn's C-60 system. I'm uncertain though without prices. A while ago, I was thinking that you were saying that you might as well pay the difference between the prices of the two systems because your proposed build offered a huge jump in performance/price, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Just in case, the price waethorn proposed does come with the price of Windows, in case you thought it was just hardware.
Also, do you have sources to defend your claims of the FX-8120's power consumption and performance relative to the i5-2500K? They seemed like pretty specific figures so maybe you have tests to show? I only learned of these tricks from blaz and palladin(number something).
Well, strkes was just trying to disagree with Tomfreak's point about AMD not marketing well. But the thing is Tomfreak just referred to the "better APU's" any of which Bulldozer is not in.
I'm not sure if you're mistaken here or you just mean something like Bulldozer-styled cores (i.e. the modular architecture). But I'm pretty sure, Trinity has Pildriver cores.

[citation][nom]styrkes[/nom]I disagree, remember all that hype by the Bulldozer? Everyone thought that was going to be the killer Intel processor. Now if only they could do that with their APU product AND make sure theirs is actually competitive, then it'll be good. If the benchmarks are good, then I'll get it.[/citation]
Bulldozer is an AMD Architecture man. And it in some cases is beaten by the Phenom 2s it was supposed to replace.

Raiddinn :
The Trinity APUs have Bulldozer cores which is going to hurt their ability to market these things. The Bulldozers use way too much power for 2012 and just don't perform up to expectations. They may not be as bad as most people say, but they really do need to have a pretty good OC just to equal Intel chips with half the number of cores usually.
