I had a 1650 super and my experience in geforce experience, control panel and nvidia overlay was flawless, instant alt tab, pretty high quality instant replays with no bugs at all, i sold it because i got a good offer and meanwhile i tried using rx 570

Completely different experience, tabbing out was slower, instant replay quality was like i was watching a 480p video even though i cranked up the settings and since i play csgo on a stretched resolution it was capturing it with black bars unlike on an nvidia card, and whenever im in game watching something on a second monitor and i use the bind ( FN + A ) to play/pause while im in game my fps drops by like 60% for 2-3 seconds.

So i want to ask if these things are happening because rx 570 is pretty old and if these things are fixed with newer series like rx5000/6000 or its simply a software problem

I wouldn't expect performance to degrade that badly using the Rx 570. Where did you get the card from?
I got it used from a guy it seems like it was used for mining, io shield was a bit bent and i couldnt put it in the slot at first and it goes to like 75c even though its a sapphire model but ill repaste it

A RX570 used for mining may well have an altered bios installed.
Cards do run hot, 80c. is not unusual.
But they are built to tolerate heat.

What is your objective?
Can you just reinstall the old card?

I think that those are software problems since everything besides the things i mentonied is fine, performance is as expected

Well, you have taken a significant loss in performance as the GTX 1650 Super is, on average, 19% faster than the RX 570.

Well, compared to the RX 570, the GTX 1650 Super was not only 19% faster, it was also two years newer so yeah, the level of tech is going to be different. Expecting the same level of performance at anything other than 2D rendering between these two cards is unrealistic. Back then, Radeons weren't known for being good at video capture because that's not what they were made for. They were made for gaming and since most people don't do video capture, nobody really cared. These days, you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference because all current-gen cards have AV1 encoders.

Having said that, there shouldn't be black bars in a screen recording. That's just weird and points to a problem with the driver installation.

Well, there may be a software problem as most people who switch from green to red (and vice-versa) often don't remove the previous driver package properly.

Did you use DDU to remove the GeForce drivers before you installed the Radeon drivers? Not doing so can cause a litany of problems because uninstalling them with Windows never actually gets rid of them and driver remnants can wreak havoc on your system. Those black bars in the recordings are a good indication that something is wrong because Radeon ReLive works just as well as GeForce Shadowplay.

If you haven't used it, I would recommend first using it to clean nVidia drivers and then Radeon drivers. That will get rid of all drivers on your PC. After clearing both types, install the Adrenalin 23.7.2 driver package and you just might find that all of your problems no longer exist.

As someone who has owned fourteen Radeons, including an RX 580 2048SP (which is a fancy way of saying "overclocked RX 570 with 8GB of VRAM from China"), I can assure you that the behaviour of that RX 570 isn't normal. When video cards are working properly, you can't tell one brand from another because they just work.

Yeah i did use ddu and i was also in safe mode, but ill try doing both when i get home from vacation.

Can i run ddu for nvidia drivers even with an amd gpu in?

And is that adrenalin version the newest one or a specific one?

Hmmm, that's weird. I actually don't bother using safe mode, I just run it twice (clean and restart, clean and restart). Maybe try that.

Absolutely you can but it could possibly damage the Adrenalin installation in the process. That's why it would probably be a good idea to clear the Radeon drivers out after the GeForce drivers. That way you get to start from scratch.

It's the newest one. I just installed it for my new RX 7900 XTX so the number was still fresh in my mind. 😊

Installed new drivers performance is fine except for my lc 6550 v2.2 haha, my friend was playing MINECRAFT and there was a black screen with no signal, since the version i have pulls like 160w, new Antec EA550G Pro should arrive on monday and im pretty sure that the psu is the reason why the black screen occured at first
