you have to loosen your RAM multiplier. I had the same problem before.
AM2 boards lock the memory speed to the CPU frequency. If you set your memory to DDR2 800, the divider is set to a certain number (i.e. 5 for my system). My system is a divider of 5 normally (when locked to DDR2 800), which means 2000mhz/5 = 400 mhz DDR = 800 mhz. I have it set to DDR2 667 to compensate for my 2.56 overclock, which gives me 2560 mhz/6 = 426 mhz DDR = 852 mhz.
All this goes to say that if its your memory that is unstable, just set it to 667 and you should be fine.
