AMD X6 1090T / GTX950 FTW and its still trash, help!

just upgraded from a AMD Phenom II X2 / R7 250X and there is little to no performance increase

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
GPU: EVGA GTX 950
M/B: FOXCONN ALOE
8GB DDR3 SDRAM

Bios and GPU up to date.

low FPS on many games, 20fps or less sometime
changing settings from low to high and vice versa sees little fps change.

whats going on here?? any help would be appreciated! thanks

Insurgency, everything low, vsync off. avg 10-20 fps. gameplay menu is @ 60 fps
default res is 1920 x 1080. iv tired lowering it and it sometimes dosnt fit the whole screen onto the display.

drivers are also up to date

I know this is a couple of weeks old and Donno if resolved, but did you try. A fresh windows install... Always works for me. Especially with new equipment...
