[SOLVED] AMD's cool and quiet killing OC

Had this on and it turned off my display as soon as I put my overclock on. Whereas when it was on auto it never disturbed my OC on CPU and I could run programs fine. Does this mean the OC itself is unstable? or that the Cool N quiet is effecting it in a bad way. Anyone know why it would mess up my OC?

Cool n quiet is a power saving feature. Overclocking: power saving is a no-no.
Cool n quiet + OC = X_X
When you had it on Auto, the system knew you were overclocking, so the feature was disabled by default.
