5.5GB a day. I could see that. If you also include TRIM functions every time you write to the disk, the system will take the opportunity of downtime to reconfigure the data on the drive. Particularly if the drive is nearly full it may have to shuffle a lot of data around.

Double check you don't have a failing windows update. It extracting, failing, cleaning up, and then extracting it again the next day could do that.

Run a malware check. There are hard drive mining based crypto currencies out there.

You need to monitor over time.

Check this once a week.
Build a graph of usage. Some spike may emerge.

What has this system been used for in the last couple of months?

First, we see if there IS an actual problem.

Then, we delve into maybe what.

Any 'always on' monitoring program will also affect your game performance.

how can i know if there is an acutal problem and im fine with my game performance being affected. If i can monitor what writes how much i should be able to figure out in few days

About 1.25 TB per week of 24/7 operation. Higher than 90 plus percent of users I'd guess.

Could be a runaway process of some type. Backup? Anti-virus? Cloud-related?

I am reasonably sure there is some way in Windows to see what is writing to the disk with considerable accuracy....I played with it within the last year. But I can't find it now.

is there anything i should be looking at other then how much data written increases daily
List full specs of your system.

If you have insufficient amount of ram, pagefile will cause significant number of writes.
If you have nvidia shadow play enabled, this will also cause a lot of writes.
Same thing, if you have torrent client running all the time.

You can monitor processes causing disk activity with Resource Monitor.
Open Resource Monitor,
switch to Disk tab,
find Disk Activity section (not Processes with disk activity section),
order Disk Activity section by column Total in descending order and
show screenshot.

Yes, I meant CDI...😉

62TBW in 8300 hours is significantly more than my C drive (1TB 980 Pro).

What software do you have running all the time?
Game related streaming or benchmarking?
steam discord logitech app oh and that come to my mind which might be causing i have virtual desktop wich i use to connect my vr headset to pc but idk if it can use that much even so i get that new so it sitll doesnt explain old usage but might explain that 6tb in 45days

You're showing Processes with Disk Activity section.
I specifically asked for Disk Activity (Disk Etkinliģi) section.

It would look like this.
Just make sure, you order Disk Activity section by column Total (in descending order) and
make file names fully visible.

Another suggestion:

Use Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) to observe what processes are running on the system. May or may not be being trigged via Task Scheduler.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer

Look for unexpected or unrecognized processes. Research to discover what they are and what they may be doing or trying to do.
I downloaded and looked but there is nothing weird everything seems normal no unexpected programs running.
