Another...I need help choosing a PSU

I am upgrading a newly purchased desktop with a Sapphire 3850 512MB card from integrated graphics. The desktop is a HP a6230n (model GN561AA) with an ATX-300-12Z DDR PSU. With the card, I'm gussing I need at least 450W? Can anyone give me a recommendation for a new one and I'm also trying to keep it under $50, as I am spending more on the card than I had originally planned.

Specs:
Athlon 64 X2 (W) 5600 @ 2.8 GHz (89W) 2000Mhz FSB 2 MB L2 Cache
Asus M2N68-LA
400 GB SATA 3G
3 GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300)
HP w2207 Display (1680x1050)
Integrated Nvidia 6150 graphics -> Sapphire 3850 (512 MB)

You should never skimp on a PSU. Why? A el-cheapo PSU can fry everything in your pc. That wouldn't be good eh?

That being said, I found this really cheap Thermaltake 500W PSU on newegg.

There shouldn't be much problems with it, since Thermaltake is a pretty well known company. They make pretty good PSUs. Other brands to consider are Corshair, OCZ, Silverstone...

That looks good...but do I have to worry about the holes for the screws lining up or do the dimensions have to match those of my existing PSU? I've heard this somewhere but I don't know if that is for old systems or something.
