It's either the author really was in a hurry or the mistakes are left for people to actually figure out this is a fake?

count me as interested to see the spects on this and on the GTX 275! I do think this will be the faster card though.

I also can't wait to see actual prices! go go April! us consumers are ready to pounce! or have April pounce on us :p (as lamorpa said! I didn't quite get that either)

[citation][nom]lamorpa[/nom]April is waiting to pounce on consumers??[/citation]
April is the name of Apple's new Mac OS, in keeping with the large predatory cat naming style...

"gained access to the release notes from the upcoming Catalyst 9.3 drivers due in May."

May's drivers will be 9.5

ere's certainly a lot of talk about ATI's and Nvidia's GPU offerings next month, most notably the 55nm ATI RV790. The upcoming GPU, slated to hit the streets sometime around April 9

Look for more info to appear within the next few weeks, especially once the Radeon HD 4890 actually hits the market early next month.

Is 4890 going to be released in 8 days or a month?

I would imagine the RV790 would most likely be a more effecient rehash since there is a video card refresh starting Q3 2009 with RV800s. If they were trying to sell a power card that close to the release of a new architecture, then it most likely won't sell well. On the other hand if they sell a card that consumes half the power with the same performance as an earlier card it will have a market with the most likely first releases of a new architecture being power hungry.

Lol, that's too much power comsumption for an x2. It's like turning on all my house light and all that consumption came from just one card. I hate to even crossfire it. Again and again I'll wait for dx11 hardware and 45nm to make it way to graphic.

I think ATI needs to focus on getting a 45nm version of the RV770 first. A dye shrink like that would cut back power and possibly allow for higher clocking of the 4870 X2 also better cooling. I don't see an RV790 based X2 card as being anything more than an ATI bid to have a bigger E-pen than Nvidia.
