Lol; i think i came off a bit too strong- didnt mean that it wasnt a good case, as it is obviously cool, i just get randomly annoyed at things, and one of those is those damn LED fans; they just irk me

i am also interested in finding out the exact differences in the Antec P180 and P182, they do seem very similar

- Rear mounted controls for fan speeds for the top and rear fan
- Motherboard mounting panel has been raised and rectangular cutouts have been added for improved cabling organization
- Gun metal grey color vs the black/silver
- The plastic sliding mechanism and holes for cable routing from the PSU/Lower HDD chamber have been modified for bigger holes.
- Rubberized holes for watercooling have been added at the rear

If you got a P180 for $90, you got a sweet deal, no reason to go up to the P182, but it's the only one available once they run out of P180 Stock...

God Speed :O

I have a 900 and am not impressed with it. It is a cool case, my temps are very low but it is VERY noisy...the Nvidia 7800 GT OC I have in it can drive me nuts when it kicks into high gear under load.

900 is a nice case if you need really cool temps and don't want to sleep next to it.

If you're interested in pretty cool temps and want the case not to emit a dull roar, go for the P182... 😴

And actually, all of the P180's and P180B's have been updated to the same features as the P182, Antec just doesn't tell you.

If I may recommend a black P180B. Newegg has a $50 MIR on them right now... a really good deal. I used a promo code on one yesterday and took off another $30 instant. I just missed having another $10 instant off. In the end, I will end up with an adequately cooled case that is uber quiet that will cost me less than $70 after S&H. 😀 😀

Thats the answer I was looking for. I have the 180B which has all the features of the 182 and couldn't figure out what the difference was. Basically you are paying $50+ for a metallic look. The 182 also mentions 0.8mm steel, but as far as I can tell my case is made out of the same stuff, its for sure not aluminum. I bought the silver P180B back when there was a rebate for it. Looks like the rebate is for the black case now, you can pick it up at newegg for $80+shipping right now. Thats an awesome price for this case.
