Any 18" LCD good for text?

Has anyone seen an 18" flat panel display that would rate excellent for text? I'm not interested in gaming at all - just great text.

I'm using a Sony 18.1" for text with good success as is my wife. We're both >55. I found that turning the brightness down just a bit did wonders. Both of us operate our LCD's at 768x1240.

I also play some games on it with a GeForce 2 Ultra.

It beats the pants off my Sony 17" CRT.
