I'm trying to price out a dream machine. I want to keep it AMD dual core CPU and ATI for all the video card options.
You'd think that alone wouldn't be impossible considering AMD owns ATI.

But when I go even further:
I like the ATI 2+1 video card configuration ( 2 Crossfire DirectX10 + 1 Physics ). From what I understand, any extra Radeon card can serve as a physics card. And I want to put in a tv tuner card. I'm thinking the ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon X1900 could serve as the physics card and tv tuner, two birds with one stone.

BUT, i can not find ANY motherboards that support AMD dual core, ATI crossfire, and 3 PCI express slots to accomodate 3 graphics cards (keeping in mind that any DX10 card will have that stock fan on top and take up two slots total). [ATI teases me with this photo on their site:]

DFI and ASUS have some boards that support the 2+1 cards, but not AMD processors.

Does anyone know of any motherboards that can do all of this???

hmmmm that aegis (?sp) board looks like proof-of-concept. At about the same time, wasn't there a demonstration of a new pixellation/tesselation algorithm, that supposedly cut the workload down significantly? I can't for the life of me remember that association meeting, but I remember it started with an analysis of the Shrek2(or3?) movie and broadened into a demo of a complete scene of a snow covered mountain to demonstrate a new form of tesselation that took much less computational power, orders of magnitude less.

Edit==> One more thought, this set up might very well be in use by say, maybe, um PIXAR?
