Current build i have

Cpu: intel i5 4690k @4.3ghz
cpu cooler: Dark rock 3
RAM: 1x 8gb hyperx fury 1600mhz
mobo: msi gaming z97 Gaming 3
GPU: MSI gtx 970
SSD: 240gb crucial
HDD: 1TB
PSU: i forgot

I want to sell my current build and use that money on this build. My current build is just not cutting it with gaming at 144hz 1080p anymore i have to turn down to the lowest settings in few games and also cpu usage too high while streaming games like fortnite and apex legends. Yes i know 144 fps while streaming in some games is hard to achieve but i don't care about that as long as i don't get fps drops out of nowhere. Feel free to give feedback.

Games i play:
League of legends
Cs:go
Pubg
Fortnite
Apex legends
just kind of future proof also or atleast AAA games on medium quality

No need to switch CPU cooler as difference in temp is minimal and not worth spending on it.

My son's B450 Tomohawk latest BIOS \ 2600 setup wouldn't run Ripjaws past 2400. LPX went right to 3200.
Will take your word. As that MSI board(which I did not test) can be incompatible. I did test it with ASUS, Gigabyte and ASRock boards. Had bad experience with MSI(Intel) motherboards previously, stopped recommending and using MSI motherboards(probably limited to stock shipped to India).
