Hi, this is my first ever post on this board. I'm a member and have been visiting this board since last year. Now I'm posting this thread with a cause.
I joined this forum as I run an electronic parts shop, but my current post isn't related to hardware! Our business was quite faint for the past few months due to the pandemic. So as part of a survival strategy, we modified our website with an option for online purchases. Since June, we have this feature on our website, and the business seems to get better with time.
As the number of online purchases increases, customer issues and number inquiries are also rising. Currently, my store is running on a small number of employees as part of balancing the monthly expense, so it is quite tough for us to manage the customer grievances and issues through telephone. That is how we started to think of getting a budget customer care app.
We use Microsoft SharePoint for document management, so we would like to have a SharePoint case management system as all of us are familiar with it. I need your opinions on this, does a SharePoint application is enough to provide a case management system?
We requested quotes from a few SharePoint case management software providers, but most of them don't fit our budget, but among them, a dock 365 application somewhat seems less expensive. Due to some error, I couldn't try their demo, though their testimonials look quite satisfying. As the brand isn't that popular, I'm not that confident to choose it just like that. So if the veterans of this board have any suggestions on the same, please let me know.
Also, I would like to get recommended to any other less expensive software too. I'm not a software person and I'm not in a mental or financial state to afford a loss on a wrong decision, that is why I took the time to write this long story.
I hope it is clear, feel free to ask me anything more as well.
Thanks.
