Exactly...
Voidwalker:
- Good tank.
- Can keep aggro about the same as a Hunter's Bear.
- Makes the best "Life Bank" with Soul Link (if Demonology).
- Has Sacrifice, which is good in emergencies for PvE, and decent in
PvP to get off a Fear without interuption.
Best Use: When grinding mobs and pulling 1 at a time (ie Early game,
PvE). Also good dualing to Sacrifice right off the bat.
Imp:
- No Soul Shard to cast.
- Blood Pact is the Warlock's only party buff.
- Phase Shift makes sure the Imp can survice (when Passive).
- Decent DPS (if Destruction).
Best Use: Instances and Raids. Also if you're Destruction spec'd and
going for all out Burst DPS.
Succubus:
- Seduce is one of the best CC abilities the Warlock has.
Best Use: Grinding/Questing against Humanoid mobs. Anti-Rogue pet on a
PvP server, she's still the best "gank insurance". Best pet when
Affliction spec'd and doing all out "Drain Tanking" with Nighfall/Drain
Life.
Felhunter:
- Paranoia helps detech Stealth.
- Paranoia bug makes it also work as a Taunt (fixed next patch).
- Anti-Mage pet. Can disrupt their spell casting.
Best Use: When exploiting Paranoia, a better tank than the VW.
Otherwise a pure Anti-Mage pet. Very good situationally.
