Hi all,

I've recently been called upon by my old school to fix a computer that had broken. After fixing the PC (some old Pentium III machine) I realised that all the computers were still running Windows 2000 and I had to reinstall the OS. The problem is, the broken computer needs to be running Win2000 otherwise it won't work with the incredibly old school media server.

So, is there anyway I can create a bootable USB to install WIndows 2000 on the PC?

That would probably work.
good luck to you. i'd get a class of the older kids together to help install windows on all them pc's. gonna take less time to burn a bunch of copies than to sit and stare at all them screens one by one to get windows running (them old pc's can take an hour or more to get the desktop showing!!!).

would be a nice learning opportunity for them to see the os install and then the driver set-up. some careful teaching and you could be making the next gen of local pc geeks like yourself. :)
