Hi guys. So I’m upgrading my pc and I need a new case since my old one is broke, it sucks and doesn’t have the best ventilation and it’s kinda small and I’m looking for a case that is white, RGB with tempered glass or with acrylic plastic or some sort of see through plastic to see rgb lighting. A case that fits micro atx boards and 2 hard drive slots and preferably cases with included rgb fans with splitters.

I have looked at a few cases like:

Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073R5GC4R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hVZnCb2E6ECF2

https://www.awd-it.co.uk/kolink-observatory-atx-mid-tower-rgb-led-tempered-glass-gaming-pc-case-white.html?gclid=CjwKCAiA99vhBRBnEiwAwpk-uHHtbW518dEfLnE8nkY99g8j4qKg0FLHxQmeagZNnISgcOwHdLskUxoC9MMQAvD_BwE

I really want like a good looking aesthetic case to display on my desk which is affordable but is good with ventilation and looks pretty cool and like the masterbox life 5, comes with some rgb fans because I don’t want to buy them separately as I’m kind of on a budget

Can anyone suggest any other better cases 70 pound or below with some rly good features I guess? I can give you any other specs you guys need to look for when picking a case

No problem, so that fan hub connects to the PSU via SATA Power and allows for the connection of up to 10 fans through that one SATA Power connection however it's just a hub so no control as far as RGB.

I think what you need is this...

Pretty sure the RGB is software controlled via iCue.
@stevenjemint I like the look of that case and it’s pretty affordable but I was looking at the ventilation as well and it’s a bit iffy. Would there also not be too much positive air flow into the case?

@wildcard999 that case looks nice and also I should probs say my mobo only has one chassis fan connector which is only 3 pin which sucks. Is there any good splitter options that could fit into a budget pc that are durable and safe for the components that fit either 3-4 fans into the splitter for the 1 case fan port. Also any other way to connect fans by either the power supply or like cpu fan port <— (idk If that’s dangerous to do this)

@wildcard999 I’m replying like this cus idk how to directly reply on mobile but I have the ASU’s m5a78l-m usb3.0 mobo

Which out of those three cases would you suggest is the nicest for a whiteroom Setup aestically and which one is best for performance out of the three? Or if they’re are any other better ones? I dunno lol I’m a pc Amature

But I have 1 led fan already in my case now but I mean if one of those cases has like 3-4 fans (if I’m able to somehow connect them) I won’t need the one I have rn

@wildcard999 by rgb controller, do you mean the little infrared remotes that you change the colours of the LEDS? Or is it somethin different because those are pretty easy to get. I think one of the cases I suggested includes it but id need to check again. Any suggestions for how I’d connect those fans then in my mobo? or even any links to splitters etc I don’t rly know anything about that stuff

There is only one fan header on that motherboard tho 🙁 that’s why it sucks and about them connecting to the power supply is gonna be honest what does the controller will handle the colours? I kinda suck at this stuff but I’m tryna learn lol

Thanks for the help btw it’s acc useful and helping :)

Well the controller is there well.... to control the colors so that's one issue out of the way. On the MasterBox Lite 5 it uses a 3 to 1 connection for RGB fans that plug into a RGB header on the motherboard. Since your motherboard doesn't have one maybe it would be better to get a non RGB case and then put a RGB fan kit (3-pack with controller) into the case.

Or at least buy a controller with a case with RGB fans (whichever option is cheaper).

Ohhh I get you know. This stuff costs so much money lol. Huh Ima bit stuck now I’ll have to do a bit of research about this stuff find the cheapest option and then I’ll probably go with the second case i suggested or the one you suggested and then I think you can buy the masterbox lite 5 fan splitter separately but I don’t know if it is just for the fans within that case. Again I’ll have to look it up

Thank you for the help man :)

@wildcard999 sorry for bothering againnnn but see this controller

Thermaltake AC-023-AN1NAN-A1 FP -10 Commander Port Hub for PWM Fans - Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B015KG6HP0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_H22nCbX6XJT1Q

Does that, when plugged in, supply power to the fans and allow me to control them by that? So I don’t even need to use the only connector I have in my mobo?? Or am I just wrong. Because it looks as if you can plug like 10 I think in to that and it is powered by a psu power cable and I don’t know yet how the controller works I didn’t look that far

Solution

i was doing some research and came across this,

https://www.cclonline.com/product/238937/ACFC-P755910-01/Case-Accessories-Modding/Aerocool-Project-7-P7H1-RGB-PWM-Fan-Hub/ACC2048/

which I am pretty sure is a hub that will allow me to control my fans and the rgb and stuff on them, but it connects with a usb pin, a 4 pin molex and also a 4pin pwm fan pin which I don't know will work with the rgb ports since my motherboard doesn't have any rgb ports on the motherboard

I don't really know if im making sense but I hope I am lol. rly just trying to find something that will allow me to change fan colour, for cheap, I don't care about the noise or speed im not that hardcore into silent gaming as my pc now I can hear the fans and it doesn't bother me at all

I understand what your trying to do but this stuff is still somewhat new to me as well. If the Corsair I linked above controls the colors via the hub and can be controlled from software then that would be the way to go.

Well in that case I will just use a little fan hub that doesn't have RGB until I can afford it so at least I can have a working computer with cooling and stuff, which case would be the best in your opinion?
