Just wondering if anyone with more CD burning experience then I (<i>See as I hae none that could be just about everyone</i>), has actually used the Aopen 12x cd burner.

I'm gonna be using it mainly to make music cd's from the mass of MP3's that I've collected. Just wondering if anyone actually suggests this one and if I even need a 12x writer for the kind of stuff I'll be doing.

I'm not even sure exactlly how the process of converting the files will go, I figured I'd learn along the way. But any insight you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I haven't tried out the Aopen drive, but I have and like the Plextor. (a lot more expensive though)

I bought the AOpen 12x...and it never worked (see my previous post below). I sent it back to AOpen a few weeks ago...should be getting it back soon.

I don't know what happened...maybe mine was just a dud. If I had to buy again, I'd shell out another $50 for a Plextor. They seem to have better support
