Hi guys!

This is my first ever post here since I really need some guidance. I'm upgrading from a ryzen 5 5600 to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D. I'm also upgrading from a RX 6650 XT to a RX 6800. Should I update my BIOS to the latest version? It is unclear for me by looking at the AORUS site what exact BIOS update I need for this CPU https://www.aorus.com/motherboards/B550-AORUS-PRO-V2-rev-10/Support

Currently, I have the F12 BIOS update which is from 2021. I have NEVER done a BIOS update so I am very scared to do it and I'm unsure what specific update to do. Should I just do the most latest update and that's it? I only know that it is recommended to update BIOS if I get a newer CPU. Help would be gladly appreciated, thanks.

to update my earlier post. to answer your other question, you can jump straight to the newest BIOS version if you want to. it does include the fix for the last round of vulnerabilities and for that reason is probably a good idea.

download the zip file and put it onto a usb drive. do not unzip it

then boot into bios, insert the thumb drive and go to the quick flash tab. select the bios zip file and start the process. it is quick and easy to do.
