Question Aorus nvidia 1080 ti 2x8pin pci connectors

So I want to upgrade from a msi nvidia 1070 X to a aorus nvidia 1080ti but my psu of 600W has only 1x8pin and 1x6pin. Do I need to buy a new psu or can I plug in 8 and 6pin. Or can I use a 6pin to 8pin converter?

You should buy a new and QUALITY PSU.
