The Problem: Whenever I attempt to open Apex, My entire PC crashes. I have done pretty much everything I have read/know but nothing has worked.
Here's a list of debugging steps I've gone through;
Temperatures are stable (60c),
Every other game is fine,
Reinstalled Apex (Five),
Repaired Game Files,
Updated Drivers (Done rollbacks too),
Repaired EAC,
Checked for malware,
Deleted Temp Files,
Disabled every overlay application,
Turned on/off fullscreen optimisation,
Capped FPS (Can't even get into a lobby, but still tried),
Checked SFC,
Checked IPConfig.
Repaired game files,
Wiped old GPU drivers,
I checked out Windows View reliability history, the only information given was "Description
The previous system shutdown at 21:05:03 on 05/04/2021 was unexpected."
Factory Resting my PC Twice (Complete Wipes)
(Some notes, this only started to happen when I installed my new MOBO, RAM and CPU Mobo: Asus ROG Strix B550-E RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 3600MHz CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x)
This originally happened a week ago, I made a thread but I'm assuming I made the post inside the wrong EA Help section (I put it in "Bug Reports")
I was away for a week so I wasn't able to do anymore testing really, I did manage to buy a brand new PSU, thinking that may have been the problem, but the issue still arises.
PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 3600MH
MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING
PSU: AeroCool Integrator Mod XT 750W
2 SSDs (One Crucial and one Samsung, I have installed Apex on both drives with no luck)
1 HDD (Also installed Apex here)
After some hours of debugging, for a hale Mary, I tried another monitor, and boom! I could finally get into the games lobby, however, whenevr I tried to join a game, the game would crash to windows, not crashing my entire PC, which is good.
This also means I finally was able to get my hands on a crash file, which I'll show in a reply to this thread.
Thanks for reading this! Any ideas would be appreciated.
