[citation][nom]dd17489[/nom]$1500 macbook? There is only one model of "Macbook" and it is $999. Even the most expensive model of "Macbook Air" is $1599. Dell's most expensive laptop BEFORE CUSTOMIZATION is $2580. And its processor is only 2GHz. Apple's laptops go up to 2.2 GHz. And all Apple laptops can run Windows, while none of Dell's can run Mac OS X, so only Apple comes with that sort of obsolescence guarantee.[/citation]
It's amusing that a fanboy has stepped up to defend the product with what the article was all about. You even made a account just to do such.
But lets look at that $999 Macbook shall we?

Wow lets just look at the CPU alone 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
outdated and a much cheaper laptop comes with a CPU more powerful than that these days. Do I even need to go on about the Macbook?
Apple laptops can run Windows
This wasn't always the case. But Apple came to realize it was just handicapping itself by limiting it. Despite it being able to you need to buy the OS which is around $100 for the premium edition. Plus installing Windows on it is basically admitting defeat within itself. How often do you hear a Widnows user say "I really wish I could install OSX"?
So you expect people to buy overpriced, hardware inferior laptops due to it running OSX which even you a fanboy are quick to point out can run Windows instead. Thanks but I think I will buy the hardware superior laptop for less money.
Things start getting really out of hand with the Macbook pro series.
http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/specs.html sure they have decent hardware now but the prices, my god they are out of hand. To make matters worse the lowest costing one only has a 13 inch screen and its $1200! The 13,15, and 17 inch versions are literally double the price than a hardware equivalent competitors products. So what does this leave, what is the difference? OSX? Is OSX really worth $1250 out of the $2500 price-tag of the 17 inch Macbook pro?
I invite any Apple fanboy to try to defend such.
