I'm so much more excited over the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" than the pretty-vanilla Apple unveils today.
No mention of NFC--which probably means (given Apple's standard "upgrade" route, since the next iphone will probably be just like the 5 only with an updated processor/RAM), the next one probably won't--implying that iphones won't have NFC for 2 years. But I think NFC is already taking off, which means Apple is behind the curve (as even my crappy $130 Android phone on VM has NFC).
I gotta say, what I've read is pretty lackluster for a "new" iphone release. And interestingly enough, despite a relatively good day on the stock market, Apple's stock hasn't reacted positively to this announcement.
