Apple Updates Mac Pro With Up to 12 CPU Cores

Unix and Linux are not the same thing. Final Cut Pro dominates the Film industry in a number of genres, but especially documentary film makers and CGI Animations. But I guess those Sundance Film Festival Award recipients and Pixar animators are just a bunch of silly Apple fanboys.

1. I never mentioned Linux in the above post.

2. You forget that Unix is also free. Mac OS X is MOSTLY unix. With NeXT in the mix.

3. Pixar uses linux.

4. Final Cut Pro's "dominance" of the film industry is lessening now that software like Adobe Premier/After Affects/Encore have been made and released.

So now what are you going to come back with?

1 yr, 2 yr, 3 yr warranties. Depends on what you choose when you customize it.

I bet it runs Pro Tools real well with Windows 7 too!

I'm sure it does. As I've said in another post. Windows will run 99% of EVERYTHING on a mac. Logic, Pro Tools, Adobe.
