APU overheating? Need help

I have had my computer for over three years and just a month ago its starts to get a really high temp when I play league of legends and restarts randomly. I was able to open speech and see when I play i get 82 degrees c on my APU but at idle my APU stays at around 44 degrees c. Please help my APU is an AMD a4 5300

After some time, the heatsink could have become loose (if it is one of those push mount ones) or the paste might be going bad if it is really low end stuff. I would take the heatsink off and put new paste on it, but of course first check if the fan works, and if there is a lot of dust.

I took all of the fans off and cleaned them maybe 2 days ago and the paste is still ok for Now I will eventually need more later but the fans run fine and the cpu fan is seated properly I know that for sure.

Wait, you checked the paste? the second you pull the heatsink off, you need new paste. (unless you just put fresh paste on within a few days)

have you tried any overclocking? perhaps voltage settings are too high?

I will get new paste for sure. But I've never overcooked and I'm not sure where to check in the voltage settings. Should I set the power settings to default?

Were they changed from that? If so it cannot hurt.

It was set on power saver but I just changed bit to balanced.

hmm that should really not do anything. I guess try the paste and see if that helps, It is hard to think up what else could be doing it as of now.
