APU Richland Compatible Requirments, HELP

Ok so I just bought a Asrock FM2A75 Pro4-M can anyone tell me if this board is going to be compatible with the new Richland series. I head all it had to be was socket FM2 and 100w cpus, but I NEED to know ASAP if this board will be 100% compatible with the new Richland APU's.

This is all uncertain as the APU has not been released. When it does get released, it is up to Asrock on whether they will provide an update to support the new APU.

So it's not 100% but is it likely that asrock will release a update for it when it does come out?

They said they do not know neither, but from what AMD has said does everything match up?

It's confirmed to be FM2 and the highest TDP is 100w so it could be supported but to be safe I would wait until its official.

Will there be that big of a difference between Richland and Trinity.

There isn't going to be much of an performance increase between Trinity and Richland. The next APU after that (Kaveri) is supposed to be significantly improved since it will have "Steamroller"-based cores.

Yes it is compatible with existing FM2 boards. Same pin, same chip as the existing Trinity parts, Same process so yes if your board supports the TDP then yes it will work on your board with no flashing needed.

Good news is that Kaviri (SteamRoller based APU's) will also run of FM2 sockets.

like is the graphics any better than trinty, like what is it equal to

7-10% CPU performance improvement, 10% IMC improvement and around a 10-20% iGPU improvement. The iGPU doesn't scale linearly so its difficult to say in x it is y FPS more, different games scale better.

That's what I was thinking,so you are saying that the new APU's that are fm2 and have a TDP of 100w should work without a bios update?
