Archon + HAF-X

Hello Guys,

I have a HAF-X casing and I am wondering if it would fit an Archon without removing side fan/shroud.

Pictures would be greatly appreciated

FAQ 1
Question: Archon’s height seems a little different than other tower heatsinks, is there anything I should pay attention to when installing Archon inside a case?
Answer: Archon is 170mm in height, so please make sure you have a case that is more than 190mm in thickness, and there should be no side-panel fan, if there is, it must be removed before installing Archon.

Despite what's said above, with a 230mm width, that gives you 40mm more than the Thermalright folks say ya need .... with a typical 25mm thick side panel fan, that *should* leave you another 15mm. I'd suggest asking the CM folks

I have a prolimatech megahalems (160 mm) in my HAF X
fits fine, didn't have to remove the side panel fan either
I still have a good 30 mm of space
