Are the 2 RAM-slots with 2 white clips each 1 of the 2 RAM Channels and the 2 RAM-slots with black clips the other RAM Channel or is each RAM Channel made up of 1 RAM-slot w/wht-clips and 1 RAM-slot w/blk-clips ...

Dell 9010 DT, Win 7 Pro 64-bit, i7-3770, RAM 4gb 1600mhz CL11, Dell 0KV62T mobo, BIOS-rev-A08

I'm not even sure if the current 2 x 2gb RAMs are both in different RAM channels ... They might both be in the same RAM-channel, and together not performing in dual-RAM-channel-mode ...

On that Dell 9010 DT mobo right next to the CPU, in the 1st RAM-bank, are 2 RAM-slots, the 1st one is mrkd#3-blk-clips and the 2cnd one is mrkd#1-wht-clips,

Are both of those both part of RAM channel 1 ... Or is one of those 2 RAM-slots part of RAM channel 1 and the other RAM-slot part of channel 2 ...

Another way to ask the question: Each RAM-bank has 2 RAM-slots: one Rs-blk-clips and one Rs-wht-clips.

Do those 2 RAM-slots together, comprise 1 of the 2 RAM channels. Or is 1 of those RAM-slot-blk-clips part of one of the 2 RAM channels and the other RAM-slot-wht-clips part of the other RAM channel ...

Here is the RAM bank and slot order and the #marked and clip-color for each RAM-slot. Dell 9010 DT Dual-channel RAM Diagram:

CPU, RAM-bank-1: slot-1) mrkd#3-blk-clips, slot-2) mrkd#1-wht-clips --- 3/8" space on mobo btwn RB-1 --- and RAM-bank-2: slot-3) mrkd#4-blk-clips, slot-4) mrkd#2-wht-clips ...

Solution
it depends on how the number the ram banks if the number them 0,1,2,3 or 1,2,3,4.
In the case of starting with bank 0 bank 0 and bank 2 are the same channel.
If the case of starting with bank 1 then bank 1 an bank 3 are the same channel.
If you want to see this in software you can down load cpuz and it will tell you want ram is in which channel.
"Same color is usually the "same channel ..."

Why in that video is he adding to the 1st original and only RAM that's in a wht-clips RAM-slot,

a 2cnd RAM to the other of the only 2 available same color RAM-slot with wht clips, resulting in Single-Channel-Mode, and not,

1, the original RAM, in a wht-clips RAM-slot, and the new RAM in a blk clips RAM-slot, resulting in Dual-Channel-Mode ...

Single-Channel-Mode: The way he has it, he has 2 RAM's in the 2 available same color wht clips RAM-slots, and not in

Dual-Channel-Mode: 1 RAM in a wht clips RAM-slot, one-RAM-channel, and the other RAM in a blk clips RAM-slot, the-other-RAM-channel ...
