There was a rumor awhile back that the next name change would be to the "Genesis" series, which actually doesn't sound that bad.

But Genesis refers to the beginning and creation. Like the beginning of life..... Unless they plan something new thats not just a redo of K10 or x86-64 it wouldn't match. In fact I never understood any of the names for any of the CPUs except Core and Core 2. Core meant going back to the core design of x86 and Core 2 was the second step of it.

The rest make no sense......

I spent a lot of money back then getting the Sega CD, lol. I had one game-

The only Sega I ever got that was worth it was the Dreamcast for Soul Calibur.

Funny fact though is that the Dreamcast was designed by microsoft for Sega hence the Windows compatability. SO in essence the XBox should be the dreamcast 2 and the 360 should be the Dreamcast 3.

It doesn't matter. Having a hammer, gold star or whatever doesn't mean crap if you are giving bad advice to somebody.

People should generally wait for advice from a variety of sources instead of believing the first high-rated source that might actually just be as clueless as they are.

That's not to say the system is awful, fact is if you actually got 10 'best answers' then you must at least have some clue. Yes even you upendra 😀

Your just like me. I read what other people saying and learn from them. 😉 Then i pass that knowledge (once i confirm that it's correct info that i just learned) to other people that dont know about it.

Im just a person that just want to help others. (maybe because boy scout got me into that state of mind :lol: )

Actually no, the Master System was the predecessor to the Genesis. The Mega Drive is the equivalent of the Genesis (1st gen Mega Drive anyway, not sure where the 2nd gen fits in).
