Hi, I have it 13600kf, Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X and cooler Fortis 5 Dual Fan. My PL1 and PL2 are set to 181W. My CPU is running on default mobo setting I haven't changed anything. After 10 minutes in Cinebench R23 i have max 85 degrees on 1 maybe 2 cores. Other cores have few degrees less max temperature. In Prime95 I have 96-97 degrees after few minutes. Temperatures in games really wonder me. When I'm playing cyberpunk, dragons dogma II or grayzone warfare sometimes I have spikes to 77-80 degrees. Avarage temps are around 65 degrees. In other less cpu demanding games I have something around 55-60. I don't know if that is okay. I know there is something like undervolting and other bios settings but i'm not into those things and I don't want to mess in bios. Is that okay?

Are those spikes to 74 degrees normal? This is screenshot after 2,5h of playing in dungeonborne. Avarage temps are okay for me but I those spike wonder me. I have 28 degrees in my room so it's really hot. Can it be caused by turbo boost in this cpu and this cpu uses headroom what ever I provide?

So i updated bios and now with those intel default settings i have higher voltages and 1k points less in R23. I downgraded from 23900 to 22900 points. Should I leave those intel settings or switch to mobo optimized?

Outside of synthetic benchmarks (e.g R23), you can not tell a diff. So, is the bench score really that important?

Also, it won't hurt to try MoBo optimized settings, since if it won't help or makes it worse, you can always switch back to earlier settings. But if it helps, good.

I had above 1,3v on cores on those intel settings so I switched back to mobo optimized. Now I have ~1,25v. For now I'm really scared about those intel problems but haven't experienced any bluescreens. Maybe 1 for 14 months of using this CPU. UE games are running fine. I'll update bios with new microcode.
