Are small Artifacts bad?

I was running the artifact finder in ati tool when i was overclocking my card. I got pretty high but i started

geting some yellow dots like maybe five that kept coming and going away. Is it ok if i keep it this way or will i

notice a bad difference in my game play?

Back down until you see NO artifacts.

Artifacts are caused (in your case) by an overheating card. DO NOT leave your card running that hot.

Did you buy the card already overclock? If so try down clocking it.

artifacts are bad very bad, even if you only have a few. Sooner or later they invite their mates round and have a little party on your screen.

Reduce your clock frequencies before you use the card like this...ati tool should be able to run forever wo any artifacts, failing that...at least a 30min test.

@OP: List the card model and the card temps while running ATITool.

the most it goes up to is like 70 degrees
its an 8800gt with zalman cooling
