I'm looking to build an HTPC which will serve the following requirements:-
1) Stream from Netflix/Youtube/etc
2) Stream local content upto 1080p.
3) Browsing/surfing.

Following are the parts I was recommended elsewhere.

Case: Mini ITX Nova Cabinet (200W SMPS)
Motherboard: Zotac E2-1800-ITX (onboard wifi, bluetooth) - Has onboard wifi, bluetooth, AMD Dual Core 1.5Ghz CPU and AMD Radeon HD 7340 GPU
RAM 4 GB DDR3 RAM
HDD (1TB)
Wireless mouse & keyboard

My budget is around Rs15000. And yes I live in India, so maybe not all components would be available here. Will the above config be suitable for my requirements of media streaming?

In case I want to be able to play games on it, what would be the upgrades required?

Thanks for helping out.

Anything which I tell you would probably be wrong. However, while browsing for answers to my problem I discovered that I am looking for an HTPC to perform the same tasks as yours. Integrated boards (motherboard with CPU) are simple solutions for builds, but from what I have learned (never built) their graphics are woefully inadequate for anything but the most basic and simplest of games. A mediocre game would probably require a basic (low end cost) graphics card. Tom's Hardware has several excellent articles on the subject, and their opinions are worth honest consideration.
