Are the pre installed standoffs removable? GIGABYTE x870 Wifi-6

I want to use the 5.0 m.2 port at the top of the board but didnt trust the plastic "Ezclip" that was on there.
Followed the manual instructions to remove it and it just snapped off to discover a peg underneath not a normal standoff. So the only way to get a drive mounted is to replace said peg with a traditional standoff

Gigabyte support has been zero help thus far (go figure). Wont send me a standoff, tell me if the existing ones are threaded and removable or tell me the dimensions so I could get my own.

Thank you for your time!

if your nvme drive has no heatsink on it, you could just try and put your drive in and use the heatsink that came on the motherboard. as it will lock in to the 120 catch. and not the 80 catch for your drive, but still hold your drive down.. the 80 catch is ment to be incase you use a drive without the motheboards heatsink.. ..

if not then you can either removed broken part, from the 80 hole,., and either replace it with a normal "nvme stand off" or take 1 of the other stand off out. but this might require you taking board out of case. (watch yourtube video for better clarification).
