[SOLVED] Are there motherboards compatible with both Intel and Ryzen?

A couple of my friends were trying to convince me that their motherboards were compatible with both AMD and Intel cpus via a modular component for the socket. I have never heard of such a thing so I wanted to confirm if this is true.

So I don't think it exists yet.
