Are these drives formatted correctly?

Just got a new 1TB Samsung 850 SSD and a 6TB WD Green HDD. I'm wondering if these are set up correctly before I start using them.

There's a bunch of stuff I'm not sure on such as:

MBR vs GPT
NTFS vs FAT32
Alignment
Volume Types
Logical drives

etc

Yes. Both are set up good. NTFS is a given.

The 6TB drive has to GPT. The 1TB SSD can be formatted either way. I would use NTFS on both.

The partitioning is up to you.
