Hi all,
about to spec out a high end computer for work - due to various reasons I won't go into, we have to run Windows 7 on it, so I have been looking for a skylake build (Kaby Lake not being supported). There's a Freshtech prebuild PC we could get which has the following components:
Intel Core I7 6700
Corsair DDR4 Vengeance 3000mhz Memory ( 2x8gb Sticks )
Gigabyte Z170-Gaming K3-EU Motherboard
GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming 8gb GDDR5
2xSamsung Evo 750 500gb 2.5" SSD
EVGA SuperNOVA 850GS 80 Plus 850W Modular PSU
Corsair H80I v2 Water Cooler
Do you think these components will work well together (had a bad experience on that count with the company at one point)?
If we decide to go through a work supplier I'd replace the plain 1080 with one of the more expensive EVGA ones and get a 1tb ssd, but leave the other stuff the same.
Would be very grateful for any comments!
