Using Corsair Link to check these temps, i have a gyazo screenshot of it so you can see. Just been worried seeing three of the temps at 25 - 30 and the fourth is fluctuating from 50 - 60. Is this normal and/or OK? Thanks for any help.

Motherboard is an Asus Maximus VII Ranger Z97.

I'm new to the technical stuff of PC's and new here, so i'm sorry if this is a retarded question or anything. My knowledge isn't any good. I just want some peace of mind. Thanks again.

your cpu run at 1.8 volt did you check on intel the max voltage for it also give a look at your uefi it give a loot of details on the system tmep and voltages could not find where temp 2-5 sensor are related to another thing you could check seeif the north or south bride do not jiggle on the board and feel hot .

I don't think the 1.8 is correct, i went into bios and the voltage was around 1.1. The motherboard temp stated in bios was 50.

Just to state, it wasn't like this before. This kind of popped up within the last month or so, do you think it might be possible that my watercooling has failed somehow? I use a H100i GTX

I don't notice a temperature difference from touching the hose, i think i can feel a slight vibration to signal that water is running, not 100% on that though. As for the fan, i don't see a change, the fans are a little loud as it is, i don't notice any volume change when the temps rise

I don't have another fan currently, will have to look into getting that. If it's of any interest though, i figured i should mention this because i am puzzled about it. So yesterday after having these heating issues (This is more leaning toward my CPU) where the temps are 40 - 50c on idle when they used to be low 20s, I took off the watercooling/radiator and reapplied thermal paste to the CPU. Gave it a clean for any dust. After doing all that, my temps were normal when i booted up. They were low 20s again all night, everything was perfectly fine, ran The Witcher 3 maxed out. CPU temps went to around 60 or so. Turnt computer off and went to bed, when i woke up, it's bad temperatures again. Nothing happened in that time. Any idea what this might be, i feel like it might be related to this stray sensor on the motherboard that's like 30c higher than the other three?

I'm going to try putting on a different cooler tomorrow to see if it changes, i hope it's not a motherboard issue but i doubt it is because i can literally feel the heat when the temps are high through the vent. Hopefully changing out the cooler sorts this.

Yeah i understand, it's not exactly burning, but it's not a warm breeze/ It's akin to hovering your hand over a turned on radiator or so i guess. Just from the feeling i feel pretty confident to say the sensor isn't wrong
