Hi guys, so currently I have:
rx 460 4gb
2x4 8GB RAM u/3000mhz DDR4
ASRock AB350M socket AM4 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06WW9S5BY/?coliid=I3FDSPCL2TUDNL&colid=6J5USOQHOENF&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Corsair 650 Watts VS650 gaming power supply.
So i've been wanting to get back into pc gaming and i understand that my pc is not great by any means. I have been told in the past that if i want anything more than the current build I have now, to upgrade my PSU as it is really not good and unreliable.
I have been looking at this PSU:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CP-9020091-UK-Certified-Thermally-Controlled/dp/B015PWMT8S
and was wondering if it is any good (if you could recommend it and whether it will be enough for the build i am about to list.
I have also been looking at either the ryzen 5 1600af or the 2600. I have heard they are basically identical, however, im not sure that this is the correct cpu, as i have been told you can get it for around £100?

As for graphics card, i am looking at the rx 580 8gb: specifically this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06Y66K3XD/?coliid=IEEPULZHI0YZB&colid=6J5USOQHOENF&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
some of the main questions i have are:
Is the motherboard that i have now fine for the parts i want to add?
I am going to get 2 8gb ram cards to make it 16gb, but im not sure if i have the right slots for the parts, and whether i could even run a ryzen 5 2600?
I currently have a budget of around £500 too
Any help would be much appreciated

Hi, What cpu do you have at this moment? You are looking to upgrade to a r5 1600 or r5 2600? I think you psu is fine, 650w for that system should be plenty enough. For your gpu I would like to know what cpu you have at this moment before I recommend anything. The motherboard that you mentioned here has 4 ram slots, so you could get either 2x8gb to make it 16gb, but you already have 2x4gb that you could still used, so it would make it 24gb. Thats a weird ram configuration and depending of the board 24gb could not work, but your 2x8gb will work.

I currently have the ryzen 3 1330x. Im not sure if the link has worked properly, but the motherboard I have now only has 2 ram slots. When I click the link it, it takes me to the right mobo on amazon with only the 2 ram slots. I am looking to upgrade to either the ryzen 5 1600af or the 2600, but the price on the AF at the moment seems higher than what other people have told me it is meant to be, and I am not sure how hard the processes of updating my bios is (and whether my current motherboard can even be updated)?
