So, I recently bought Samsung evo 870 500gb ssd and I was wondering if its safe to use this SATA power splitters. They came with the PSU which coolermaster v1000 gold. There were other sata power cables with psu too but I lost them some where, so im left with thse and idk if these are safe to use. I heard of some sata power splitters as being a fire hazard etc,
P.S: Im gonna use this splitter with 1x1TiB HDD and 1x500GiB SSD thats all.
Pics:
This is the splitter side that goes into SSD/HDD; its split 3ways- u can see one end is inserted into the HDD(2 remain free), haven't inserted my ssd yet, i wanna confirm, if its safe to use

Do NOT use modular cables from one PSU with another PSU....! (Differing pinouts on PSU insertion points will fry your stuff ' lickety split'!
Chance that you can insert the cable's 5-pin connector to anything else than a specially designed PSU port for it is slim.
I searched online and found that these cables arent original, but since i bought this psu in used market and this cable came with it, also they look like they have the same pin outs and i have been using this cable for my HDD for 1year now without any issues, so should I use this with my SSD or not?
