Question Are these temp spikes normal?

I understand Ryzen CPUs tend to spike a lot but on most games my CPU spikes to 70 at best.

Using HWInfo to monitor here are the temps I've seen on 3 games.

L4D2 - max: 66c, average: 55c
Call of Duty BO3: Max 70, average 62
Back 4 blood: MAX 72, average 60

Are these temp spikes normal and when using HWInfo Is average cpu temperature the most important thing.

max temp according to AMD is 95C so you well within the limits.

Nothing to worry about.

spikes occur when CPU needs to wake a core to do a specific action, after its done it it will rush to idle again. You would notice similar just at idle, cpu always changing temps. Its just how the CPU operate.
