Are these temps normal for firestrike?

I was just able to get my graphics card up to 91 degrees by using firestrike ultra and customizing it even more demanding than the stock settings.

I have 3 intakes and 3 exhausts.

I have ~1 inch between my cards but i might be able to move down another slot.

So are these normal?

That's really weird. Is off in nvidia control panel? And the game? And it won't go above 144fps? Try reinstalling the nv drivers.

also in bf4 my temps reach 72 on 50% usage. Im starting to think there is something wrong with my cards

I think the cards are ok still. Run heaven benchmark. See what your gpu usage is at. If its 90+ on both its the vsync issue. 72 is fine for temps. Again you're running sli. Heat is a big issue. That's why I'm on water, and that's why my buddies 980tis didn't last 2 days before they got water cooling.

i just tested tomb raider framerate wasnt capped average 150-170 frames in a forest on maximum settings(without amd sponsored setting) and I know for a fact my cards should be pulling 250.

Possibly swapping the cards for the reference versions, they should run a bit cooler since they exhaust heat from the rear of the card and it won't build up in your case (although the 780T has good airflow).

Might be drastic. They may run around 70-80c. Swap them out if you can. Sounds like you'd rather do that. But try reinstalling the drivers just to see what happens.

Also I just tested hitman, i avged 170-300 but was at 120 in the heaviest part of the game> and gotovato, its not that I want to return them, its that I want a normal working computer

Probably because the hot air is circulating the case and the only exhaust is the rear case fan. If you had reference versions of the cards the hot air would be exhausted from the rear fan and also the GPU's giving you lower temps.

That is how much of a difference it wud make? Also, do those game numbers seem normal? and are there any aftermarket coolers that blow out the case?

Also, I managed to uncap bf4, and I avg 180 fps but get down to 150? I am really about to ditch gaming all together because I don't remember the last time I sat down to play a game and did not have to worry about performance.

Check your FPS compared to the review depending on your res.

If your running BF4 @1440P your FPS should be around 158 and dipping down to around 130 depending on how heavy the action is.

What monitor do you have? If your monitor caps @144hz then anything above that is pointless since you wont see it on your monitor. Its like the ppl who complain when there FPS dips down to 300FPS from 500FPS on CS:GO and there using a 60hz monitor lol.

Nothing should be causing that dip except for thermal throttling which would be the GPU(s) or CPU.

To compare fps you should be runnin controlled tests like the heaven benchmark and firestrike without changing settings. Testing with games is never ideal specially online games.

if your benchmark scores are where they should be, your other issues can be explained by sli. if your frames drop down for a second or two that's not a huge issue at all. ive had it before. its just an sli glitch. sli has come a long way but isn't perfect. also at 1080p your gpu setup is such overkill the cards probably aren't being stressed enough to really shine. I would honestly say youre fine as long as you can control your temps. turn off your overclock as you don't need it and just enjoy. your games are FAR from unplayable. if you want to swap to ref card sure your temps will be better but performance will probably be the same. have you checked to make sure your cards arent throttling during game play? are you monitoring your clocks realtime during gameplay on another monitor or with an on screen display?

The FPS dipping down is probably due to the GPU(s) reaching above 90C, if you where to use the reference versions and the GPUs temps stay low then the cards wont throttle and performance should be good.

realtime but for example tomb raider, im supposed to get 250+ but im in high 100's and sure i can only see 144 but the fact that I cant even hit that is making me feel really shitty about this computer
