I was just able to get my graphics card up to 91 degrees by using firestrike ultra and customizing it even more demanding than the stock settings.

I have 3 intakes and 3 exhausts.

I have ~1 inch between my cards but i might be able to move down another slot.

So are these normal?

NOPE!!!! It should be 75 degrees at max. 91 degrees is too high and close to thermal shutdown. I would rethink your settings and change them a bit. What are the stock temps? 92 degrees is the highest the GPU should go, and your temps shouldn't be near it.

What was your bottom card running at? What case are you using? What speed were the gpu fans running at? Gpus in sli run very hot. My buddies 980ti's, the top card was hitting 90c easily until we put them on water. You can try raising the fan speed on your cards but the aftermarket coolers do run hotter then reference coolers in sli. Also if your case isn't large enough to move that kind of heat you'll really not have too many options.

Reference coolers blow all the heat out of the case rather then blowing it all around inside the case. How do you have your h100 setup? Is it exhausting through the top? Or pulling air into the case? 780t is a massive case so that's not an issue

No. But in the bios I have set their speeds quite high. If i were to switch to ref. cards, how much of a temp drop could I expect. And by the way, the only programs that can push the top card past 83 are the benchmarks.

If its only benchmarks I would keep the g1s as they tend to OC better but then again you'll run into heat issues. It's tough to say how much cooler ref cards will run, and if you're into overclocking you'll be limited by the poor ref coolers ability to cool the 1 card. I'd suggest pulling up some YouTube videos and see what others get with ref cards. The g1s are nice though.

What res? 1440p? You should be hitting 144fps with eas. My friends does over 100fps at 4k. What CPU are you running? Are the cards throttling at all? If its just a dip for a split second during a heavy scene then I wouldn't worry but if the fps are dropping and staying at 130 or less perhaps you have some throttling going on. Sli isn't perfect and this is part of it.

50%? Seems very low. My 780's peg 95+ usage, and my buddies 980tis also. I game at 140% res scale at 1080, with everything ultra, 4xmsaa and maintain about 90-120fps(gpus are under a heavy OC btw). You should have no issues capping 144fps but again random drops are not an issue. What CPU do you have?
