Are UV cold cathode case lights dangerous?

I am thinking about getting some UV lights to light about my case. I have a few UV reactive things in the case and I am wondering if these lights will have any negative/harmful effects on me or components in my computer. Thanks in advance.

i know someone who had uv lights in their case and over time it made all the cable insulation brittle and crack

definately not! unless you sit inside your case for a year 😛
