News Arrow Lake CPUs get Intel APO support for improved gaming performance — Intel APO game library also expands with 12 new titles

I'm glad Intel is continuing to add titles to APO and that support isn't being dropped for older generations. Hopefully this will continue down the road.

I still find it odd that they don't support the 13600K/14600K/245K fully with APO. Would love for a tech journalist to try to get an answer out of Intel because from the outside it looks like they just don't want to spend the time/money to fully cover those SKUs.

I believe they answered that indirectly when APO was first introduced: it costs too much to do for lower tiers.

HUB also reported on this, but Intel changed their mind during the course of 2024, kind of, in regards to the support, so they may change it again.

EDIT: Just to be clear. I do hope they support more CPUs under APO. More "budget" gamers also deserve these improvements from Intel, for sure.

Regards.
