Question Artifacting after blackout

Hi, I have had a lot of short blackouts recently. One time I was using my pc and another one happened. I unplugged everything cuz I was expecting another and I was going out.
When I came back I plugged everything back in and when I turned it on I got a weird purple checkerboard artifact a little bit after windows loaded. It was purple then green and then the monitor lost the signal. After a restart everything seemed fine but I didn't test it afterward. I have a surge protector and temps are normal. Should I be worried or was it just a one time thing ?
