Greetings!

I recently upgraded my mobo in order to get 4GB RAM running on my system.

I bought 2x2GB DDR2 800. Since then, I have hard stability issues. Windows XP SP3 freezes randomly...

I tried to change some options from BIOS. Firstly, it recognizes de RAM but at 533 instead of 677... I tried to force it to 667, but the problem persist.

Then, I changed "Memory Flexibility" option to enabled to try out. The system is more stable now, but not all the stable it must be. I still have random freezes and don't know if there is a problem with the default BIOS options, or I must change some of them in order to run the system without issue...

Any good advice will be appreciated!
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello,
I have same problem with my Asrock 775 Dual VSTA;
I have only 2Gb DDR2 667 (2 x 1Gb) but windows freeze randomly as yours.
I try 3.19 firmware but freeze again...
If I use 3.10 firmware it's ok.
I want to install 3.15a firmware because I'm waiting for an ATI HD4670 that need this firmware.

Any solution?

Thanks,
Marco
