I have been having 3 annoying problems with this board.

First Prob. Sata controller won't always detect drives. Requires the computer to be unplugged to detect again.

Second Prob. Cpu multiplier will get stuck on the lowest setting on 4 of the 6 cores during stressful work. The 2 other cores will be fine. Requires restart.

Third Prob. Intimate Memory Error after boot. Sometimes it boots and works and sometimes it boots and crashes several times in a row. (Page Fault In Nonpaged Area)

1 and 2 I have had this since I got the board. The 3 just showed up and I can't find the issue. Memtest gave clear.

Have you tried resetting the BIOS to default? Either in setup or with the board jumpers/battery? I'm assuming you have the SATA ports the HDD is on set to AHCH mode and installed Win7 fresh after installing the MB. Also, run memtest on each stick of RAM individually for at least 1 full pass.

Is it too late to RMA it?

I have reset the bios, updated it, reinstalled windows, all the memory passed memtest. It is about a year and a half old. It's performance is degrading quickly.
