Hi everyone,
recently I was looking around AMD's Adrenalin software and found out that my RX6600 is using pcie 3.0 x8.
According to Asrock's data about my MB (ASRock B550m-HDV), it states that it has; " 1 PCIe 4.0 x16, 1 PCIe 3.0 x1, and 1 M.2 slot (PCIe Gen4 x4)".
I am using mentioned m.2 slot (nvme drive), have placed the gpu in the biggest slot available (the only x16 one), and also have an apu (Ryzen 5 5600g).
The question is, shouldnt the gpu be using pcie 3.0 x16, instead of pcie 3.0 x8? I know that using an apu I am losing some of the pcie lanes, but correct me if I am wrong, even with the setting I have, gpu should still be at pcie 3.0 x16, no?
Can I make some changes to let the gpu use x16, if possible?
