Hello,
This is my first post here, so if there is missing information please tell me.

I currently having an issue with a new motherboard. Actually all component are new (I needed an office computer). The issue is the motherboard Asrock B550M Pro4 doing 1 beep on the boot. This computer has worked for a week or two without any issue, during the first week I was using the Samsung ram, during the second week I was using the corsair ram (Information bellow).

According the the "Beep code chart" its a Memory refresh timer error.

Here is the current important component for the PC.
  • Corsair vengeance LPX DDR4 3600 Mhz, 2x8 Gb
  • AMD Ryzen 3 3300 3rd Gen.
  • NVIDIA Quadro P400
Here the component I no longer use
  • Samsung 1Rx8 PC4-2133P-UA0-10, 3x4G
The following thing has been tryed/tested
  • Tryed Samsung RAM in position 1-2, no success
  • Tryed Samsung RAM in position 3-4, no success
  • Tryed Corsair RAM in position 1-2, no success
  • Tryed Corsair RAM in position 3-4, no success
  • MemTest86 on Samsung RAM without error
  • MemTest86 on Corsair RAM without error
  • I tested with another Ryzen 3 300 processor, no success
  • I tested my processor on another motherboard, it was working.
  • I did remove the CMOS battery for 30s, no success
  • I did activate the motherboard RESET_CMOS pin, no success
  • I tryed to connect the monitor on the video card, no success
  • I tryed to connect the monitor directly on the motherboard, no success.
  • I checked if there is any dust or whatever on the CPU socket
I know its an older generation, but if anyone has an idea. I currently ran out of idea what would be the problem.

Not sure about that one short beep - wondering if it could be a BIOS /Successful POST beep.....

For example:

https://itstillworks.com/one-beep-mean-computer-28943.html

Memory

Motherboard User Manual:

https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B550M Pro4.pdf

[Do verify that I found the correct/applicable User Manual for the installed motherboard.]

What (if anything) is being indicated by the Post Status Checker? Reference Physically numbered Pages 7/8 (Layout item 20) and Page 33.

Physically numbered Page 2 lists the supported Memory. (Do note the reference to the Memory Support List on Asrock's website.)

Also check physically numbered Pages 22 & 23 for supported RAM configurations.

Double check that the new RAM is indeed supported and properly installed.

Yes this is the correct manual used.

There is the following LED on hte Post Status Checker
-Boot, It Stay red
-VGA, It Stay red
-DRAM (It flash slighly, pass the test and turn off)
-CPU (It flash slighly, pass the test and turn off)

I tested one of my monitor, they all work on my other computer, the HDMI, VGA and DVI connection all work my second computer. So the cable and monitor should be fine.

The Ram corsair (CMK16GX4M2D3600C18)(Corsair vengeance LPX DDR4 3600 Mhz, 2x8 Gb) is not listed as compatible (ASRock > B550M Pro4 ). But I have seen several post saying they had no issue with it. I also did check here (Compatible Motherboards with Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18 - Pangoly ) before buying.
The ram (Samsung 1Rx8 PC4-2133P-UA0-10, 2x4G) used to work well.

I did connect the Samsung RAM, that used to work without problem. Its still 1 beep and the same LED are shown.
